1 ansitel Versions

The ansitel VoIP telephone system is available in different versions. Each version realizes complete VoIP support. This means that the use of VoIP telephones and VoIP providers is supported in each version of ansitel.

1.1 Inhouse

The ansitel VoIP telephone system is available as an in-house solution. This means that the telephone solutions will be installed on your premises as a hardware server. It contains interfaces to the existing computer network and for the existing telephone lines.(e.g. ISDN, analog or GSM).

The following options are available:

1.1.1 Chassis

ansitel will be installed to the clients demand. Optionally, following chassis are available:

In the following example a 4-port ISDN-BRI-card is installed. The port order is counted from left to right.

1.1.1.3 19" Custom 4 HE Rack chassis

Our ansitel VoIP telephone solution in 19" Custom 4 HE Rack chassis contain following interfaces:

In the following example there's a 4-port ISDN-BRI-card, a 2-port analog card and a 1 port PRI-card installed.

1.1.2 Expansion cards

Our ansitel VoIP telephone solution can contain, depending on design and the clients demand, either one or multiple expansion cards.

To connect the ansitel PBX to the telephone lines or phones, the following expansion cards are available:

1.1.2.1 ISDN BRI - Expension cards

ISDN BRI expansion cards are used for ISDN PTP or PTMP connections and can have one (2 speech channels), two (4 speech channels), four (8 speech channels) or eight (16 speech channels) ports.

The port order is counted from the bottom to the top.

The position of the expansion card depends on the case of the telephone system (Section Chassis↑).

Attention: The 8-port version of the ISDN S0-card contains only 4 physical ports, these ports can be splitted to 8-ports with the accompanying adapters. The port order is counted for the first four ports from bottom to top and for the ports five to eight from top to bottom.

All ports can be connected as external ISDN BRI-ports (with NTBA) or as internal (ISDN telephone, fax).

The shipping configuration of these ports will be done by ansit-com.

1.1.2.2 ISDN PRI/E1 - Expansion cards

ISDN Primary Rate expansion cards are used for ISDN primary rate interface (30 voice channels) and may have one, two or four ports.

The port order is counted from the bottom to the top.

The position of the expansion card depends on the case of the telephone system (Section Chassis↑).

The shipping configuration of these ports will be done by ansit-com.

1.1.2.3 Analog - Expansion cards

Analog expansion cards are used for analog telephone connection or analog terminals (e.g. telephone, fax, voicemail) and may have two, four or eight ports.

The position of the expansion card depends on the case of the telephone system ((Section Chassis↑)).

The shipping configuration of these ports will be done by ansit-com.

1.1.3 Network-Interface (LAN)

Your ansitel VoIP telephone solution gets connected to your computer network over your LAN connection.

On delivery the VoIP telephone solution expects an IP address from the DHCP server.

If there is no DHCP-server available in your computer network and your ansitel telephone solution does not get a valid IP address, it will fallback to the following address:

IP address 192.168.100.1 Netmask 255.255.255.0

In addition, the ansitel telephone solution has an emergency IP address of the network interface. This IP address is reachable with a computer in the same network.

Emergency IP address: 172.16.100.254 Netmask 255.255.255.0

1.2 Virtual Machine

Our ansitel-VoIP telephone solutions are also available as virtual machine. This means that the telephone solution can be installed on a server provided by you. This way you save out on hardware costs and is it possible to use your own structure available.

ansitel as virtual machine is a clean VoIP solution without expansion cards. All existing connections must be connected via VoIP media gateway.

1.2.1 Network Interface

Your ansitel VoIP telephone solution gets connected to your computer network over the network interface (LAN). On delivery the VoIP telephone solution expects an IP address from the DHCP server.

When there is no DHCP-server available in your computer network and your ansitel telephone solution does not get a valid IP address, it will fall back to the following address.

IP address 192.168.100.1 Netmask 255.255.255.0

In addition, the ansitel telephone solution has an emergency IP address of the network interface. This IP address is reachable with a computer in the same network.

1.3 Hosted ansitel | Hosted Asterisk | Asterisk Cloud | VoIPCloud

Our ansitel-VoIP telephone solution is also available as cloud-solution. This means that your telephone solution is located in our data center.

ansitel as a hosted version is a clean VoIP solution. It is VoIP-phone, VoIP-provider and VoIP-gateways connectable.

You can also connect to the telephone solution over an external IP address and an associated domain address (http://demo.ansitel.de).
